As an Executive Assistant at HAPHE, you will have the chance to learn and contribute across a variety of key areas, working closely with your team head to understand the bigger picture of how we chart the organization toward its goals. Your responsibilities will include:

HR Support: Learn how to manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. Understand how to keep a team engaged and aligned with HAPHE’s mission.

Project Management: Assist in coordinating and overseeing special projects. Gain experience in tracking progress, managing deadlines, and ensuring that all project deliverables are met.

Fundraising Support: Work alongside the fundraising team to learn how to identify potential donors, prepare proposals, and organize fundraising events.

Strategic Planning: Participate in meetings to understand the development and execution of strategic plans that advance HAPHE’s goals.

Calendar Management: Assist in coordinating schedules, meetings, and events, ensuring the leadership team is well-prepared with all necessary materials.

Communication: Develop communication skills by acting as a liaison between the leadership team and internal/external stakeholders.

Document Management: Learn how to prepare, review, and organize documents, reports, and presentations.

Event Coordination: Help organize and coordinate events such as workshops, advocacy sessions, and community outreach programs.

Research and Reporting: Conduct research on various topics and learn how to provide summaries or detailed reports to support decision-making.

Confidentiality: Understand the importance of handling sensitive information with discretion and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
