Student-led initiatives are powerful, but the presence of a staff ally often makes the difference between a fragile project and a sustainable one.

What a staff ally brings
Continuity – staff remain even when students graduate.
Credibility – staff signatures give weight to letters for internships or official recognition.
Guidance – staff can help book rooms and give general guidance.
The emotional layer
Having a staff ally spreads the responsibility. Students don’t carry the whole weight themselves, they share it with someone who is invested in their success. This reduces pressure, which in turn prevents stress from tipping into anxiety.
